Dipl. Ing. Franz Walter was born in Nuremberg, Germany in 1980. He attended the Technical University of Ilmenau to study Media Technology and graduated in 2006, focussing on digital media production, user interface design, and system design.
One of his early day projects, the travel-guide Basecamp Cape Town was the compelling result of a ten month internship in Cape Town, South Africa, back in 2005. Working as a Systems-Designer for the innovation consulting agency chilli(mind, he co-created the award-winning cross-media cookbook Genie Essen.
His work and his skillset have been commissioned for numerous national and international companies. He has worked on projects with world-class athletes such as Ines Papert, Stefan Glowacz, Stephan Siegrist, Robert Jasper and numerous more.
Recently he got more into photography and shooting video exploring the realm of possibilities created by merging these disciplines into one single immersive experience. His vision is to re-think and re-work the art of storytelling in the digital world.
