about: franz walter
Dipl. Ing. Franz Walter was born in Nuremberg (Germany) in 1980. He attended the Technical University of Ilmenau to study Media Technology and graduated in 2006, focussing on digital media production, user interface design, and system design.

One of the early day projects, the travel-guide Basecamp Cape Town has been the compelling result of a 10 month internship in Cape Town (South Africa) back in 2005. Working as a Systems-Designer for the innovation consulting agency chilli(mind, he co-created the award-winning cross-media cookbook Genie Essen.

His work and his skillset has been commissioned for numerous national and international companies. He has been working on projects with word-class athletes such as Ines Papert, Stefan Glowacz, Stephan Siegrist, Robert Jasper and numerous more.

Recently he got more into shooting video and photography exploring the realm of possibilities created by merging these disciplines into one single immersive experience. His vision is to re-think and re-work the future of storytelling in the digital realm.
